End grain chopping board.

Inspired by antique butchers blocks that age and wear over time, I wanted to make a contemporary version for everday kitchen use.

Hand made from Welsh Sycamore, turned on its end grain to provide a hard wearing and durable and self healing cutting surface. Made more for cutting than serving, but that is up to you!

Chamfered edges keep the design contemporary but also serves as a great grip for picking up.

The sustainably sourced sycamore has natural antibacterial qualities and is finished in organic flaxseed oil.

Natural variations in the colour of the timber are natural and make your board as unique as you!

  • Do not submerge in water or leave wet.
  • Not dishwasher safe.
